Field View Electrical Ltd is a family run business - established 1997 and based just outside the market town of Penrith in Cumbria.
“We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and customer satisfaction”
As the business grew we had to take on another electrician to cope with the increased work load the business has gone from strength to strength over the last ten years with more and more electrical contracts being undertaken. We now have four members of staff on site and one member of staff manning the office and phones.
We now have three modern, fully equipped vans serving an area roughly 35-45 miles in radius but we do go further a field for bigger contracts. We also have a 24hr Emergency callout service 7 days a week 365 days of the year.
All our members of staff are qualified in their relevant fields of work to City and Guilds 2360 standard and we pride ourselves on our continued commitment to training.
Membership of the NICEIC also means that we are registered NICEIC Domestic Installers. Any electrical work which involves new additions to a domestic installation requires a Domestic Installers Certificate which complies with Part P Regulations.
Since 1997 our company has considerably expanded and the secret to our success lies mainly with the quality of our work and the recommendations that accompany it. Our company continues to develop and we are fully capable of taking on Property Management including Renovation and Extension of all electrical, data and alarm systems.
“All our work is cost effective and fully guaranteed”
We can assure exceptional standards of workmanship and professionalism as well as working strictly in accordance with scheduled programs of work, this allows us to give guarantees on all our work and our minimum guarantee is one year. We are fully insured and hold public and employer’s liability insurance for £10 million.
We are registered with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) and all our work is certificated accordingly. As registered electrical contractors we have already improved the standard of electrical work in the UK. The new electrical safety law has further enhanced the protection of the home owners and reduced the risk of electric shock when using electricity.
The law, which applies to England and Wales aims to improve electrical safety in the home and prevent the number of accidents, which are caused by faulty electrical work.
Also the law requires an electrician registered with a government approved scheme, such NICEIC to carry out work in the home. After completion of any work NICEIC registered electrician will issue you with a Building Regulation Compliance Certificate to prove it meets the required standard of Part P
You can only carry out electrical work yourself if you can inspect and test that it is safe before use. To comply with the law you must notify your local building control office before you begin any work and pay the appropriate fee for them to inspect the work you have carried out on your property.
