We are Field View Electrical in the heart of Penrith and we have a vacancy for a full time administration assistant to join our busy friendly hard working team.

Its essential that you have

• Excellent communication skills
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
• The confidence and ability to work unsupervised
  
• Be computer literate and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and the ability to learn new software packages.

Responsibilities and duties

Applicants should be enthusiastic and proactive assisting with the smooth running of the office. You will be working as part of a small friendly team, team work is important but you will have ownership of your own areas of responsibility. This is a wide and varied position some of the main duties include.

• ​Answering the phone, dealing with queries and taking and relaying messages to other members of staff
  
• Dealing with customer enquiries in person and over the phone
  
• Arranging the work diary (this is a major part of the job and can be quite challenging)
  
• Keeping the customer database and job system up to date
  
• Maintaining and updating records in a timely and accurate manner.
  
• Planning, managing and prioritising your workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
  
• Dealing with all communications in a timely manner and ensuring they are of a high professional standard
  
• Assisting with purchasing
  
• Daily post and Banking
  
• Any other administration tasks directed by management.
  

Benefits

Working Hours are 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm. Automatic enrolment to company pension scheme.
